🎬 💼 Last week, the Seneca CEO students had the incredible opportunity to meet with Dale Depew – local entrepreneur and community leader. Dale is the current owner of Seneca News Daily, investor and General Manager of Seneca Starvue Theater, Mall Manager, and formerly owned several other local businesses.

Dale shared his journey through various industries and emphasized the value of acquiring existing businesses and the power of strategic community partnerships.

🎥 We got a behind-the-scenes tour of Seneca Starvue, including a peek at the digital projection system, current mall renovations, and even a spooky tour of the old cinema. Of course, no visit would be complete without popcorn and fountain sodas served up for breakfast by the students themselves 🍿🥤

🔑 Key Takeaways:

✨ You don’t have to face every challenge alone – find people who believe in your vision.

✨ Keep learning – an owner should know how to do every job in their business.

✨ Always be willing to get your hands dirty – do what’s needed to move your business forward.

✨ The path to success is paved with both wins and mistakes – learn from both.

A huge thanks to Dale for sharing his experience, insights, and a look behind the curtain.
