This morning, Seneca CEO had the opportunity to visit with Kelli Dariano, owner of Threads and Washington Street Outfitters. We gained a deeper understanding of what it takes to run a successful local business. During our visit, we learned about the day-to-day operations at both Threads and WSO, including inventory management, customer service, and the importance of marketing and branding. We also got to hear about the challenges and rewards of owning a business and how consistency, dedication, and strong communication play a huge role in long-term success.
What stood out the most was how important it is to build relationships within the community and create a welcoming environment for customers. It was a great experience to see firsthand how passion, creativity, and hard work come together to make a business thrive.
We truly appreciate the time Kelli took to speak with us and share her knowledge.
This visit was a powerful reminder that success isn’t just about what you sell—it’s about the experience you create and the relationships you build along the way. As we continue to grow as future professionals, we’ll carry these lessons with us and strive to lead with the same level of passion, purpose, and commitment to our communities. Thank you for having us!
