Seeing the behind-the-scenes of a custom metal fabrication operation firsthand is exactly why this program is so valuable. It's one thing to talk about supply chain and entrepreneurship, but it's another to see the sparks fly and hear about the real-world challenges of running a local business.

We left with a much stronger appreciation for manufacturing and the skill it takes to turn raw steel into something functional (and even artistic).
